Synopsis
Justice has evolved, as has when it is applied. The Sibyl System, also known as the Psycho-Pass, was put into place in Japan in the year 2220. It is an objective method of assessing each citizen's threat level by looking for indications of criminal intent in their mental state. Alongside them are Enforcers, jaded Inspectors who have turned into latent criminals and are given relative freedom in exchange for carrying out the dirty job of the Inspectors. Inspectors defend the law by subjugating, frequently with lethal force, anyone harboring the slightest ill-will.
